I believe chrono trigger,final fantasy vii and parasite eve may be the most expensive games to find.They also have a cult following with collectors.I can't part with any of them I still play them all three are great games

I had FFVII and Parasite Eve. My ex took all my shit when I was at work. Never got em back

Yes different versions fetch different amounts as well.Black label ffvii had less copies than the red label greatest hits was more common but is still expensive because a lot of copies got ruined. Parasite eve had a very disturbing intro

I can mostly agree with that they have put out a few I liked a lot.But the quality dropped since the merge.I'm not liking the direction they are going with ff.I definitely prefer the old battle system

I'd agree with that. They had an amazing run on Playstation before merging. The PSone and the Nintendo are hands down the best systems imo just for the quality of RPG's on them.

Gotta hold down the run buttons and hug your corners. It's okay, though, you are really close to some AWESOME music. Of course, you can also say that about the entire game...

(also if memory serves the password you get from catching it is holding down L+R while you hit the A button on the right panel, which you can do before catching the rat as long as you beat the boss guy, or maybe even without)

PSX and SNES were indeed the golden age of RPGs. Now it seems the plot and fun, fast paced battle systems have taken a back seat to graphics. Note that I don't dislike graphics, exactly, but once I can tell what things are without effort I don't view them as a priority.
