One would have to be tough if your name was Tuffy.

Boog Powell is an awesome baseball name.

Three Finger Brown is a good one for the excessively literal. He supposedly had incredible breaking stuff.

Babe Ruth christened this man Horse Nose Collins...pretty funny if you know what Babe's nose looked like.

Babe Ruth is also fantastic...Babe was my dad's nickname in his family as the youngest, but my mother never called him that (rarely even spoke to him, actually). Babe called everybody Kid (pronounced "keed"), and I always liked that Ted Williams was called "The Kid".

I have been calling Adeiny "Sketchy Hechy" for years but haven't been able to make it stick. Maybe people think he's not good enough for a nickname.

"Bobo" Newsom got his nickname because he couldn't remember (or didn't care enough to learn) anyone's name and so he referred to everyone as "Bobo".
