Pens played a great game.


Well the little bit of extracurricular after the game they won't have to wait too long to see where that goes.

Except for too many dumb penalties in the first period. A real PP would have capitalized.

True and this is the Penguins a dumb penalty is to be expected.

The Pens PP wasn't much better that goal only occurred because of the lucky bounce on Henrik's mishandle of the puck.

For overall effort in their own end this probably was their best game in a LONG time.

Great 60 min effort from the penguins. Henrik kept them in it.

Interesting stat on CBC - Crosby has not drawn a single penalty this postseason. Seems crazy as he looks to be mugged every time he has the puck and frequently without.

I'm happy we're coming home tied at 1 and not down 2-0 like people expected. I'm very happy with a split. 2 would have been great, but we don't play well with leads. Can't remember the last time we were up 2 games in a series.

Oh trust me, he's getting plenty from NYR fans. He's playing good defense, making great reads, strong on the puck. He's just not scoring and it's killing us.

why do the rangers get game 6 and 7 of round 1 back to back and game 2 and 3 of the next round back to back? there should not be ANY back to back in the playoffs. no other teams got those back to back except the teams the rangers were playing and they only get it once. doesnt seem fair

It's strange but I bet the MSG schedule has something to do with it.

Stupid fucking Liberty have practice at 11AM on Tuesday and a game on Thursday and then a Billy Joel concert on Friday. We're playing 6 games in 9 days, it's retarded, but oh well, gotta deal with it.
