Pedro hits a triple, he might need some oxygen in the dugout after that one

My bro called and I got distracted.

The Giants are losing too. As long as that happens I won't mind as much losing tonight.

The Cards already lost. :D

The Padres have the hottest dugout girls I've seen. Kelly Crull is smokin' and here's Laura McKeeman.

I won't stop worrying about the Cards until they're mathematically eliminated.

I think poor Colt Hynes is going to have a bus ticket back to Tuscon waiting on him in his locker after this game. A sure DFA candidate with his 11+ ERA. Just not quite ready for the bigs yet.

Pirates win, Cards lose. I'll sleep good tonight.

My only hope for the Pads is that they can do some damage down the stretch.

Through the month of August:

Tabata .286 / .352 / .490 (5 RBIs)
Walker .329 / .388 / .471 (6 RBI)
Cutch .413 / .519 / .603 (12 RBI)
Pedro .197 / .256 / .437 (13 RBI)
Martin .245 / .322 / .434 (8 RBI)
Sanchez .259 / .323 / .370
Jones .133 / .245 / .267
Mercer .264 / .310 / .358
Marte. .311 / .408 / .459 (3 RBI)

About time these guys woke the bats up. Let's hope they can keep the good times rolling.

With the win last night we picked up a game on the Commies and the birds, too! :yahoo:

Has anyone else noticed all the 2 strike counts that Cole seems to work. I've kind of been noticing it all year, unfortunately he hasn't been able to rack up that many K's. Hopefully in the future he can get a go to out pitch and start racking them up.

he needs to throw a lot more inside. he will get more swing and miss, give up less hits, and set up his other pitches on the outside part of the plate.

people are just digging in because he throws in the same area almost all the time.
