Another race to watch Verstappen and Perez continue to secure wins and podium finishes. Hamilton claims the Mercs will return but little else has occurred to support that belief. I kinda think it is red bull 1 & 2-4 is up for grabs. between the three teams although Aston Martin probably ends up 4th but they are in the conversation now.
Side note. Watch the Netflix F1 show. Think it is laughable they were considering removing Checo. Considering how well all of Verstappen's other #2's had done. Checo is a badass & the team player Red Bull wants. He is the F1's red headed step child & he still produces. Dont think many can handle the way Verstappen treats the # 2's. I know almost all the teams have a pecking order, but Verstappen I am learning is a complete spoiled dick & not a teammate. RedBull would have been stupid to replace Checo. Would have been a backwards move.
Red Bull should get their 1-2 finish in the points this year.

Verstappan broken driveshaft in Q2, so will start 15th. He was consistently a half second faster than even Checo in practice, and with a circuit that likely sees a SC, I bet he can still win. He should be able to lap .7 a lap or better than everyone outside the top 3 or so.

Not calling him to win, officially though.

Even though it hurt me in our competition I have to say I am actually impressed that Red Bull did not screw Checo over. Max clearly had the pace to catch him and they could have let Max by.

never understood that rule.
if they dont pit to deal with the penalty it is just added to the time.
So if a team doesnt do it right. To me means they still have to honor the 5 second penalty which in turns cost them 10 seconds. Doesnt team have the right to decide when they honor that penalty? just doesnt seem logical to me.

Nonetheless cost me my 4th position but Retro "the cheater" loses much more points. He had a perfect day.
Aston Martin is to retro as Ferrari is to me
