The Formula 1 version of the Indy 500 on the Memorial day week-end is this race on the French Riveria. Hamilton, Bottas, and the Mercs appear to have solved their problems that were exposed on the first race of the 2018 season and may be on the brink of breaking-out into one of their classical season-long dominance runs that could lead Hamilton to another championship.
Red Bull is haing in there. The young driving tandem of Verstappen and Riccardo are becoming an ever-increasing threat to give the Mercs a run for their money.
Ferrari appears to be fading a bit. Vettel has been flat-out disaterous in the last several races and Raikkonen has simply disappeared.
Nice to see Haas beginning to turn a corner as the sixth place finish in the last race was very positive. We shall see if they continue to make in-roads into the points-paying positions and maybe even a podium finish at some point.
