I still want to know why Massa's close rate on Perez was so fast. Almost like Massa didn't have a chance to react.

So was it Massa's brakes failing or did Perez's work too well?

I thought that they had a radio transmission from Perez complaining that his brakes were cooked. Probably he slowed down too early & in a different place/fashion than Massa would normally have expected.

I tried looking at the replay in slow motion and it just seemed like both drivers were out of control, Perez braked slightly early, Massa might have braked too late and perhaps lost a little control, you can see in the in car view Massa does turn his wheel towards Perez

I don't think either driver should have been penalized, both were out of control it was a racing incident
