Okay I've been entering this pretty interesting NFL pool for the past few years, so I thought I'd bring it here just to get your thoughts/have some fun.

Rules:

Pick six teams for the season. You receive 2 points for each of the teams' wins, and 1 point for a tie. A bye is considered a win and is awarded 2 points. “Season” means ALL games played during regular season through the Super Bowl. All post-season games count the same as regular season.

Select TWO teams from Group I, ONE from Group II, and THREE from Group III.

Group 1:
San Francisco 49ers
Cincinnati Bengals
Denver Broncos
Indianapolis Colts
Atlanta Falcons
Green Bay Packers
New England Patriots
Baltimore Ravens
Washington Redskins
Seattle Seahawks
Houston Texans
Minnesota Vikings

Group 2:
Chicago Bears
Tampa Bay Bucs
San Diego Chargers
Dallas Cowboys
Miami Dolphins
N.Y. Giants
Carolina Panthers
St. Louis Rams
New Orleans Saints
Pittsburgh Steelers

Group 3:
Buffalo Bills
Cleveland Browns
Arizona Cardinals
Kansas City Chiefs
Philadelphia Eagles
Jacksonville Jaguars
N.Y. Jets
Detroit Lions
Oakland Raiders
Tennessee Titans

The object is to choose the teams that will have either the highest or the lowest win totals so I usually submit two entries every year, one with the losers and one with winners.

Just thought this would bring up some good discussion. What are your picks?

My group one picks: Seattle Seahawks (maybe I'm a little biased, but we DID lead the league in scoring defense and averaged about 32 points over the final ten games, or something like that) and Houston Texans (great defense that could be even better with Brian Cushing back)

My group two pick: Tampa Bay (I think the additions of Revis and Goldston will help out the secondary a lot, and Doug Martin might have an EVEN BIGGER year now that his pro-bowl guards Nicks and Joseph are back).

My Group three picks: Buffalo (great running game and EJ Manuel looks promising), KC Chiefs (I think Andy Reid will find some ways to get the speedy Jamaal Charles into space), and Detroit (a very talented DT duo and I read a good article about how Stafford might bounce back this year. Also, Reggie Bush averages about 5 yards per carry on turf for his career).

 having the Seahawks in your loser bracket.

Got a wager for you. Seahawks win more games then the Pats ( including playoffs). Loser has to put a avatar of the winner choice until the end of the following season.

Since the Pats play in a cup cake division, this wager leans in your favor.

If you actually want to enter the real pool I can email you the form. You just have to send some money to a woman in Spokane Valley who keeps track of everything.

I figure if they tank none of you guys will have them. I see 10 wins probably, but I couldn't see anyone else in that group doing more than a game or two worse.

Tempting. When do you want an answer?

I'll let you know. If I can't find this thread I'll PM you and you can let me know where to post it so there's no backing out later (not that I would, but it's a good idea to have these kind of things somewhere to be referred back to).
