Are you guys aware of the type of off we play in the Big 12. An up temple off so the WR's don't run alot of many different routes. However with his size he should not much trouble making the transition.

Route running trees are not as advanced in the Big 12 but that is true is the case in much of college football these days. These days you learn it at the NFL level. It is also why Big 12 QB skills don't translate to the NFL very well.

My question is, who do we take snaps from to get Doctson on the field?? IF we were going to take a WR, this was my 1B, liked Treadwell just as much. And I get it for the long term outlook of the team. I just dont see who we take play time away from to get him on the field. So honestly who goes?? Garcon or Jackson?

Well that's easy, you don't release anyone. You do realize how many snaps Garcon & DJax missed last year? Better yet, how many snaps Grant and other backups received last year. There are plenty to go around for a player of Doctson's ability without releasing anyone not named Garcon, Jackson or Crowder.

His ball skills sound excellent. I am however hoping Cousins doesn't make him turn into contortion man every time he throws him the ball.

i think year one he will take all of roberts snaps (duh ) and cut into ryan grant's . that would be a good learning year i think

then you have options with garcon . perhaps you have leverage on a cheaper contract that fits us because DJ could be the one to go as doctson is a long ball threat as well even though he fits garcon's role better

K, obviously this guy standing next to Dox isn't the tallest but the comparison in size really makes me laugh
