Missed that one. would have given Sea the ball with 3 minutes left.

Can't really tell that his knee is completely down as it is slightly grainy of a picture. It does make it appear that it is possibly down but the officials have the capability to zoom in to the knee to see exactly where it is.

:bullshit:You do know that this was a 3rd down play, so Seattle wouldn't have AUTOMATICALLY received the ball. And like most people stated, the blame should be on Carroll for not saving a TO to challenge. There were missed calls for both sides.

It wouldn't be so bad it that was the worst call of the game. But it wasn't. I think that idiotic fair catch interference call deserves that honor. How the hell to you flag a player from the kicking team when he's obviously trying to avoid contact but then the returner moves into him? That was the nut hugger call of the game in my book.

If a fair catch is called, it's up to the coverage guys to gtfo of the way to avoid hitting the return man. If he hit him and was "trying to avoid contact" he needs to try harder the next time. There's no get out of jail free card for trying there.... sorry.

Like the Crabtree fumble? Like how the ref tapped his ass signalling Crabtree down, then got together and said the play can't be review because progress was stopped after the fumble?

There was no fumble there. His forward progress was stopped for a few seconds. It's a non issue.

Game's over. The Seahawks need to win 2 out of 3 for HFA to be secured for certain, and two of them are at home and 2 of them also against sub-.500 teams. Both teams got some questionable calls, but that was because the refs didn't want a bunch of fights or cheap shots. As far as the fumble goes, I thought his forward progress was stopped anyway, so we might have gotten the better end of an iffy call. If anyone deserves some blame it's the Seahawks coaching staff because they made some pretty crappy decisions.

Bullshit. You were straight outplayed.

And spots are very rarely perfect.

Wow, totally wrong.

Seattle beat themselves. Pure and simple. Too many bail out 3rd down penalties while on defense and bad play calling/execution on offense late in that game as well as the offense being totally missing in the first quarter.

Both defenses played well all day. Earl Thomas blew a tackle that gave Gore a huge run that turned out to be the difference.

Straight outplayed? :laugh3::lol:
Someone has a case of the ass for the seahawks don't they.

More yards
More 1st downs by quite a bit
More time of possession by quite a bit

I think outplayed is a fair assessment.

And only stat people do that. If you actually watched the game you saw a Seahawk team beat themselves or you just weren't paying attention. I won't blame the refs as Seattle's physical style leaves them open to calls and most of them are deserved, but you can blame the players for making stupid ones, especially personal fouls on 3rd downs and say that unit beat itself that drive. It isn't speculation, it is pure truth.

First downs and TOP? Seattle plays a bend but don't break kind of defense and don't always lead either of those even in games where they blow out the other team. And yards when SF got 51 on a blown tackle by their best defensive player is hardly a sign of being out played. Next...

Only a homer can look at scoreboard, yardage, 1st downs & TOP deficits and claim their team wasn't outplayed and out-coached...definitely out-coached so if you want to throw some of it at Pete C's way that'll work too.

Wasn't that a 3rd down play? Do they get a 4th down? Is there a reason you believe they wouldn't have got in on 4th?

Also, how do you give the Seahawks a pass on a game of inches? Shouldn't they have been smarter with their timeouts?

I didn't claim they got crushed, but to deny they were outplayed is a little silly.

Except the game was not poorly officiated and saying a slightly missed spot is the story of the game is laughable.
9ers won the game fair and square so congrats and more power to'em, but saying that the game was well officiated is ridiculous. You obviously didn't watch the game and are just spouting off to hear the sound of your own voice......or you are blind.
It was a very poorly officiated game on both sides. The refs were overly concerned with keeping control and it led to crap calls against both teams to a certain extent.
