Great to have the Phillies back but damn this team is dumb. Very poor approaches last night at the dish. Why can’t our hitters figure out that teams don’t want to throw them fastballs? They need to work counts to get fastballs. Alcantara was around the plate all night but not to the tune of 3:1 strikes to balls like his pitch count revealed. It’s just game one so I don’t want to make too much of it but damn if last night didn’t look so much like things did with Kapler.
