Phils call up Flame thrower Giles to replace Adams as he is heading to the DL again. This could be a good thing or completely blow up in thier faces, finally get to see the mental makeup the kid has, the physical attributes are there, just hope he knows how to harness it all.

He will struggle with his control. He will be nervous. But here is a chance to work with him on a big league level. They should keep him away from pressure situations in the early stage. His Fastball is impressive but he has to learn how to get guys out. I like this call up because I think it's important that we stop waiting for the perfect moment to give these kids a chance.

I don't think they have a choice now that all the Phils are doing is losing. The losing has painted the organization into a corner. They are going to be forced to get Amaro away from his insanity and maybe Sandberg or somebody other than Amaro has the owner's ear.

I am disappointed with Sandberg. He makes moves that make me scratch my head. I think Amaro influences him but I would rather be wrong.

Like I stated Northeast. Now that attendance is continuing to decline, the managment of this organization appears to be in search mode and right now, there is little that makes sense except for a couple of pretty talented draft picks which hopefully they won't screw up..
