1. a real Cheese steak is never called a "Philly Cheese Steak" or worse a "Philly Steak and Cheese"
2. There are NO green peppers....maybe grilled or sweet or hot peppers, but if someone tries to but sliced raw bell pepper on your steak...it is fake.
3. Tradition has Provolone on the Cheese Steak. American snuck in and a lot of places use the Cheese Whiz, not the spray can the stuff that looks like Velveta, because it melts faster and more evenly.


There is no "magic way to order". but it better be on a fresh Amaroso roll, or it is just not the real deal.
