Nola VS Hammel. Phillies get a chance to see how the one-two punch of Hammels and Nola can do. There is some irony in facing a pitcher named Hammel the day after Hammels throws a no hitter. The Phillies need to give Nola run support and another win will be at hand. On a side note: I find it interesting how few people have posted about the Phillies recent winning ways, and of course Hammels no hitter. However when the Phillies are crappy they come out like flies. Either way; GO PHILLIES!

I find it amazing that you would comment on spelling. Not a word about the Phillies or Hamels no hitter. most spelling errors are made in haste. That is the 1st time I have misspelled his name. Most likely because of the Cubs starting pitcher still fresh in my mind.

Matt Stairs was stating that many of our batters like Brown do not follow the ball all the way in to the catcher's glove and in so doing, miss valuable info contributing to lower hitting stats. There are quite a few players who do the same stupid things while batting.
