It was the specific action of stomping on the helmet in front of the Braves' dugout that seemed over the top embarrassingly silly. I missed the "presidents" action but it sounded funny but not personal. Hmm. I guess bashing and stabbing are a bit personal though.

Actually I just watched again and Roosevelt wasn't really stabbing.. He was just swatting with a "rally mitt".

Just as an FYI, that's the contraption that Zimmerman (when he was healthy) and Harper wear on their hand (both had thumb injuries) to protect themselves. In DC it s known as the Zimmermitt.

Very goddamn, genuinely funny! CSN seems to avoid showing these entertaining presidential races when we're in DC, unless I always step out for a brew and somehow miss it.
