It was a strange time to call a hit and run. Sorta like he's trying too hard to get something going, but instead it had the complete opposite effect.

Its pretty hard to call a hit and run of burnett anyway. the dude is effectively wild. Its hard to control your bat off of someone like that. The predictability sorta goes away

Maybe, but you choose a better count to do it in, and hopefully you take into account that it isnt cliff lee pitching, its burnett. they are polar opposites in style
