Fuck you Cody! This guy is the most boring player ever. He's like Scott Rolen without the talent. At least Brown went out in a blaze of incompetence, tripping over a wall.

If only they had passed that 15 years earlier maybe Omar would not have been a bitter thug that preyed upon drug dealers. He'd prolly be sipping a Martini with Stringer Bell right now, talking about his adopted kids.

Damn pack of Newports...

It's amazing Ortiz can still be productive into his 50's but Howard was washed up at 30
Ortiz may be 60 years old. The Spanish speaking players often lie about their age. Mostly Cubans though.

There's still no basis for the ruling. Male and female are not specified in the Constitution. It was assumed that man marries woman. You would have been burned at the stake in 1789 for even thinking same sex. Pretty soon they'll be issuing marriage licenses for a man and a pig. That's a constitutional right. Correct?
Now you're just being silly. Man and sheep maybe, man and pig is ridiculous

Odubel Herrera has put together a good season. I don't know how rookie of the year voting works but if it is one of those things where they pick several guys and rank them I'd have to think Odubel would at least get some votes. It's amazing how some guys can jump from AA to the majors and put up decent numbers right away. Maybe the Phils should send their whole team to that Venezuelan Winter League this off season.

At times it seems like Odubel is the only Phillies player who knows what the hell he's doing.

Herrera is batting .323 in the leadoff spot. With runners on base he is hitting .325. He only has 7 homeruns and lacks in the rbi dept. His fielding in center is improving. Overall he should be a mainstay for the Phils in years to come. Franco would have been a ROY favorite barring his injury.

Another loss by players that are a waste of space and supposedly are good MLB players and its all bullshit. The dildoes are still stuck in a hole.

One guy who may survive is Sweeney. He has power from both sides, reaching the warning track several times in this series. In 15 games and with 35 ABs, he has 3 homers. I would play him over Asche who's been very disappointing.

And it will take a hell of a long time to climb out of it. Without several good, young consistent power hitters, like a Franco, the Phils are just a bunch of mediocre players. They left 20 runners on base in these 3 games. Even when they get more than 10 hits, most are left on base. Well be watching tryouts thru next year, and longer.

(I still see pitching as their main problem.) Some of the younger players are still developing power that will happen later. Power is needed from left and right field mostly. Howard and Ruf have combined for 28 homeruns at 1st base which is ok. Rup will provide power from the catcher position next year. Franco will be back at 3rd and so on.
