I have missed most of this one because of work. What I have witnessed doesn't look so good.

Flyers didn't deserve it in the first two periods and Thomas made sure they didn't get it in the 3rd.

That's right and I thought that his teammates fed off of him being in a zone. Altogether, they just outplayed us for the majority of the game and we did not screen Tim often enough or capitalize on over 1:20 of 5 on 3 time early on. I don't think we were aggressive enough on the forecheck or physically in the first two periods. The third period was better, but too little/too late and that final goal was just bad luck for us.

Even minus the last goal scored, I thought we had a puncher's chance to tie it late.
