Just read about a Flex interview. He said there is no change in direction for the Phillies approach in hitting. Even though
they are taking pitches in the strike Zone that can be hit. Even though they strike out a lot from getting behind, even though they are not moving runners, ETC. Flex said we will hit more homeruns and walk more by holding out. This is causing the low batting averages and low scoring in my opinion! Singles can drive in runners too. Putting the ball in play
can create errors on defense and move runners as well. No chance to have an old fashioned rally when simply swinging for
the moon!
