You can't have some dude poring over video at midnight after officials had already made the decision that there would be no penalty. Had it been Tiger Woods, I guarantee you there would have been no penalty. It had zero effect on the hole being played.

The real bullshit in all of this that players are no longer DQ'ed for signing an incorrect scorecard when an infraction is discovered after the fact. At that started with that Tiger incident.

It was unheard of to not be DQ'ed after signing a card that had to be changed after the fact.
Nick Faldo knew that ..which is why he said Tiger has to be disqualified. That was until his bosses at CBS put the screws to him
and the next morning Faldo was singing a different tune.

That was a sad day for golf.

He’s going to cry and go to LIV after the official asked him a day later if the ball was touching the line and Cam admitted it was??


The rules are not the question here it’s the organization behind it and that some players get kids gloves and others do not. Which is a reason why some of these guys left.
