You have until 1 hour before draft to set keepers. You don't have to drop any players it's done automatically. To set keepers go to your team page, in row above avi you'll see keepers to the right. Click keepers, then check box for up to 5 players to keep, you don't have to keep any if you don't want to. Remember to click "submit keepers" to save your choices.

Pretty sure we all keep 5 and then we start the draft as usual with the players who weren't retained .

The draft settings just say it's a snake draft. I think if you don't retain 5 players you keep drafting after the players who DID have filled their rosters.

I'm assuming that I'm just picking 7th as usual.

affirmative. so you really have to think if those 5 players you keep would be players you would perhaps draft in the first 5 rounds. For me its a no brainer, Keeping Ovi, Oshie, Burns, Toffoli and Rinne.

If you look under My team, edit auto pick strategy, you would see the first 5 slots are grayed out with this under each one "* This rule will be ignored if the pick is used for a keeper."

Ok I know you're all confused so let me explain better. You DO NOT have to keep any players if you don't want to. If you choose to keep any players, maximum of 5 any position, those count as your early draft picks. So if 5 of us kept 5, 2 kept 3, 2 didn't keep any, they would draft in the 1st 3 rounds. Those who kept players have already been considered to have drafted in each of the 1st 5 rounds for each player they keep. Those 2 who kept 3 would begin to actually draft in round 4. Those who kept 5 would start picking in round 6. VERY IMPORTANT...for some reason in the 1st 5 round the draft order doesn't go as normal. you'll see what I mean, complaints can be sent to www.****.com
