1. I see your TE "advantage" and raise you a RB or WR advantage.
2. Someone drafting Gronk doesn't change anything. He goes where he goes, and those who weren't taking him, aren't forced into anything.

Yeah man I get that but I couldnt get a RB advantage. I picked 7th and all the real sure fire guys were gone. My Wrs are solid so it was either stretch for a RB in round 2 and then have crappy WR's or roll with the 2 best TE's and good WR's. With the flex I know Im good there assuming everyone stays healthy and I can for sure make a trade if the right one comes along. Problem is nobody is going to give me enough for Gronk to trade him early until he proves he can stay healthy and if he does stay healthy I may not want to trade him. LOL

Out of curiosity, when did you take Gronk and who were the best RB/Wrs on the board?

I'm not talking about RB available at Gronk's pick, but rather Graham's.

And jarntt, I'm saying that those that ate gonna select Vernon, Cameron and them are gonna pick them anyway. And yes, they are comparable to the rest.... and don't try and tell me Cameron is proven in your rebuttal.

When I took Graham Petersen, Charles, McCoy, Forte and Lacy were all gone. The ONLY thing I could have done there RB wise was stretch for a Marshawn Lynch, Doug Martin or Leveon Bell type and frankly I dont have any of them ranked that far ahead of Zac Stacy or Joique Bell ( both of who I got in the later rounds ). I took Gronk in the 3rd round because I had him ranked 21st overall and it was pick 27 so he was my best available guy. I know not everyone agrees with the train of thought but IF both Graham and Gronkstay healthy Ill have 2 of the best 10 guys in the league as pass catchers ( to go along with Demaryius Thomas and Roddy White at WR). If I could have gotten Petersen, Charles, Mccoy or Forte I would have done so but I cant see stretching for a guy in round 1 that likely wont provide me with much more than a 4-6 point per week gain over guys I got in the 4th and 6th rounds.

If you think all those guys that you listed are comparable there is no reason to have a discussion on the topic.

Definitely like Graham better than those RBs in most leagues, although I do see them much better than J Bell. Still wondering what RBs and WRs were there when you took Gronk. You don't always go highest guy on your board, but it's not necessarily a bad idea.

5th-7th round, Jordan Cameron's weekly points last year...16, 9, 24, 15, 3, 6, 11, 8, 0, 2, 3, 4, 18, 2, 0, 6

13th - undrafted, Charles Clay's weekly points last year...5, 16, 4, 10, 11, 6, 3, 3, 2, 15, 2, 8, 21, 0, 3, 4

I see five double digit weeks for both. I see zeroes for both. I see a HUGE difference in only one thing..... draft number!

Would have been all over Ball in the 1st.

But anyway... you went in with an idea, don't change it now. If Peyton was available when you picked Graham, then why would you even consider this?

Kinda losing track of the thread here - but after the first 10 TEs, the next 16 were all within 30 FF pts of each other last year. So at the bottom of the TE barrel there's no urgency at all. And since only 30 separated the 4th from the 9th, the urgency there is pretty thin, too.
