Pete Carroll made a very stupid move at the end of the game

When it happened, I was thinking about a TO too.

But maybe calling a TO and giving the Rams extra time to draw up a play and allowing the offense to gather composure was what they wanted to avoid. Keeping the clock running kept a ton of pressure on Clemens.

The Rams had a timeout anyway and called it with 4 seconds left, so your logic is wrong

Yeah, because the Rams using one TO with 4 seconds left is just like the Seahawks and Rams both calling several of them within 50 seconds.

The Rams didn't call theirs until 4th down. One play against one of the best red zone defenses in the league, why shouldn't he trust them?

The logic that the Seahawks wouldve helped the rams get a better play by calling a timeout doesnt matter because the rams were going to call a timeout anyway.

When it was 4th down, it was around 20 seconds left and the rams let it run down to 4 seconds. The Seahawks couldve stopped the clock on 4th down with about 20 seconds left. By the Seahawks calling a timeout, you give yourself a chance, just in case the rams score.

I dont care how must trust you have in your defense, they are not perfect and can be scored on.

The Seahawks won, so it worked out for Carroll this time. However, moving forward I would think that most Seahawk fans would want their coach to use his timeouts in that situation. It's simple math. 2 chances to win > 1.

Anyone else notice that look on Pete Carrolls face during most of the game? It wasn't the typical arrogant smirk and strut thing was it? More like a deer in the headlights, couldn't believe what he was seeing... one of the worst teams in the NFL with a has been nobody QB and a couple RB's no one can name (stacey, lacey, pacey.... something like that) just dominate supposedly one of the top teams in football. Was fun to watch carroll squirm and look frightened and worried... I will say that. Those bad decisions were made in panic.

I say it was more fun to watch another road game victory for the Seahawks. I must have missed the squirm, fear, and worry you seem to have locked onto.
