The trailer looks like shit. I've seen the original and sequel and they weren't very good.

For me, depends on the remake. Technology can make some movies better.

I thought the original was absolutely ridiculous and insensitive. Yah I get the parents are crying about the kid getting run over by the semi, but did anyone run over to see if the truck was okay? The truck is going to need massive repairs and an insurance Company is going to have to pay massively for it.... but we're concerned about some kid? Okay, movie.

I loved the original Pet Semetary, but no interest seeing the remake. I'll watch it when it's on HBO or Netflix someday. I did enjoy the remake of "IT" however. I'm looking forward to chapter 2 when it's out at theaters.

Found this to be a much better movie than the Original for a few reasons, with the main being the acting is tremendous thanks in large part to Jason Clarke and John Lithgow. Plus the tone of this movie was a lot better and creepier which is how it should be given the book.

Good to hear. I liked the book, but as usual with King, I thought the original movie pretty much sucked....

Only memorable thing from original was Gage slicing Herman Munster's achilles with a straight razor...

The only big difference I would say in this movie and without getting into spoilers is that it doesn’t follow the book exactly with everything that happens in certain scenes. Some it follows the book very well and some they change it up. But overall I think it works.
