He's showing flashes, but not really putting it all together. It's been a year and a half since he's looked truly dominant, which is unfortunate, because he has more natural ability than just about anyone else in the league.

I always wondered if athletes take a class on how to sound as boring as possible to the media. Nobody ever just says what's really on their mind. I'd love to hear someone say, "Yeah, we were doing pretty good and I set up a sweet pass to Michael Ryder and he totally whiffed on it. I'm in a contract year here and I need every point I can get, you know?"
