Franklin didn't get his team going coming out of the gates in the First and Third Quarters. The Lions had plenty of chances but just folded in the big moments.

Should've had that game. Won the turnover battle, had 204 yards rushing, completely dominated the 1st half and still lost. I hate to hang it on Allar, but 12/23 for 135 yards, no TD's and one critical INT isn't good enough. I think Tyler Warren needed to get the ball more.

For me, this definitely goes down as a self-inflicted loss though. At worst, we were going to OT tied at 24.

And yes, now the narrative will still be that Franklin can't win the big one.

I really hope Allar returns for his senior season and gets some measure of redemption. This would be a really sour way to end his college career.

No doubt Allar crapped his pants this game. He is better than he showed last night. Hell if he gets a three yard pass to a little higher Singleton would likely have caught the ball and PSU would have won. But he didn't.

Having a team with one receiver (Warren) and two excellent RBs is great but ZERO completions to WRs? This was poor recruiting at this position.

Being up 10 with a little over two minutes to go in the half I thought Penn State was in good position. Giving up that FG to a team who had two OLineman and their starting QB on that final drive of the first half helped give ND hope.

Franklin and his two coordinators were out coached in the 2nd half. Allar's INT late in the game was a HUGE mistake. Not sure I liked PSUs chances in OT.

I was not confident going into this game knowing Franklin's record. Penn State had one of the easiest paths to make it to the Championship and of course failed in what was a winnable game for them.

I hate OSU and I think they will win today and win the National Championship. Ryan Day has had a few WTF days too. I am placing my wooden nickel on OSU. I guess if PSU won I would have been bitching next game how Franklin can't beat Ohio State/

Franklin needs to do some serious recruiting to get back to the playoffs next year.
