Yeah, it's been rumored for over a month now that PSU was trying to get out of the game. The rumor was that they were replacing us with Rhode Island, but I guess when UCF was able to get out of their FCS date, they worked the deal out.

Mizzery would probably be a good game, as both teams stunk it up last year. The Oregon and Boise St games would just be nasty.

Ha I remember when I was a kid one time a Bama fan was bragging about playing Hawaii back when they were on probation. I turned around and said, aren't they on your schedule? I think I was like 10 or so and the dude looked baffled.

CSB: but my question is whenever a team is on probation are they permitted to play an extra game? Because Bama played 13 games. I don't know why OSU or USC wouldn't have tried to get a 13th game in if it is permitted though.
