Why would they have a say? TV contracts being what they are the conferences have to fill these slots and give up some decent meat in doing so.

USC and WSU have had back to back years of playing a Friday night game, and last year USC did it on the road in Pullman after having a road game the week before.

They suck for the schools and fans on so many levels, but bring more publicity as well.

Something is still kind of fucky with PSU's defense. They were trash against App St and then played two more teams without much fight before not looking ready to dominate against a team they clearly should.
