makes me sad that he'll be playing against us this year.. he was one of my favorite 3rd/4th line guys..

expect him to be dangerous, but fail to score, very frequently.. i often said he was the flyers most dangerous player (as far as scoring chances go) he just failed to capitalize

ahhh, good, he'll fit right in with those he is following. Stone-hands Fedetenko and his pals. oh well, he'll probably get a few shots at a top line. occasionally at least. with the pens wheel of wingers it's a guess every game who ends up on what line.

The thing you get with Asham is not only a grinder, but a player who can fit easily anywhere in your line up. He can mix well with all kinds of different players. Wish he would have went West!

Nah, I think he'll make a nice addition to the bottom six for the Pens. It's just gonna take some time to get used to seeing him in a Pens jersey.

He gives 100 percent every shift, and can create an impressive down-low presence. You'll like Ash, Pens fans. His hands are quite surprising as well - I mean, he only has one move, but when he scores it's highlight reel stuff.

He had 23 minors last season, which is about the number Mike Rupp had. He'll be in the box, but it doesn't seem too extreme for the type of player he is...

His on-ice personality? He seems very reserved during the post-game pressers. Comes off as shy, almost.

actually not really.. i cant remember any times where i thought 'wow asham you idiot, why did you do that?'.. most of his penalties were legit penalties, like hooking someone to prevent an odd-man rush.. cross-checking someone from in front of your goalie.. couple holds against the boards.. stuff like that.. mostly battling type penalties

but i could just be comparing him to hartnell who has a brain the size of a computer pixel..

Good signing for the Pens. He'll be a valuable addition to the bottom two lines. He's a gritty player at a good price. I always hated him in Philly, but admired his approach to the game. He's not afraid of much, except when Cooke gets hungry

Hopefully, all is forgotten between those two...
