Just as we praise the Pens defense, they give up a shorthanded goal

Not a bad decision by Letang on that pass, but it was just a bit too far ahead of Dupuis, and it turned into the shorty.

I agree. Was it Koivu that was leaning on Griese? Letang knocked him into Greise, but he made no effort to get off of him. No way that goal should have counted.

Overall a good game by the Pens (other than that shorthanded goal). Wild were 5-0 at home going into this game, so this was a big win.

Main thing about the Jets' success is their defense and goaltending which has allowed only 1 goal in their past 3 games. Will be a tough test for the Pens, but Doob picks the Pens to win 3-2.
