I don't know if both pages are Fleury talk, but that is as far as I have gotten.
FLeury hasn't given up that many WEAK goals this year... he gives up untimely goals. The past two games he played, his play during the 2nd kept the Penguins alive. His positioning is off and rebound control is bad and he doesn't play a full 60 minutes.. those are his issues.
The Pens are having a difficult time defending plays that start behind their goal... and we give up a few great short handed chances a game.
Fleury is not the only reason why he has yet to win a game this year.
Johnson is just playing unbelievable hockey... which makes Fleury look even worse on the surface.
Somehow, that glare starts looking dimmer and dimmer each day.. recently anyway.
.
come be a Canucks fan for a while. 40 years and counting. that championship back to back in the 90s would still be gleaming bright for me......
The day I feel sorry for the Penguins will probably never come.
Fleury has in fact won a game this year, it's just that his other five starts he has lost. Not to mention, he's giving up at least three goals a game. And I disagree with the type of goals he's surrendering. Too often he's been caught cheating of a post or not getting his pads down on soft shots on the ice. Carrillo's goal last week comes to mind.
Pretty much...lol
Although your team does have more SC's then the Pens do so you've got that going for you.
And at least your team has won SC's.
For some reason I thought I should put regulation win, but thought folks wouldn't dwell on it... oh well.
And I agree, that Carcillo goal and the game winner he let in against the Habs were bad goals.. he let in some questionable goals, the wrist shot from between the circle, but some of that goes to the shooter as well... hey, I am a huge Fleury critic, my preseason thread should make that obvious... he is under performing but not nearly as bad as some think he is... agian, I only think he has given up two bad goals.
The Pens defense has been lacking and Johnson is playng out of his mind.
Yes he did (former Flames goalie Jamie 'Noodles' McLellan) - This is Noodles second season as Kipper's coach.
Noodles is a favourite among Wings fans for his lovetap on Johan Franzen in the playoffs a few years ago that had all of Hockeytown apoplectic.
The day I feel sorry for the Penguins will probably never come.
Fleury is playing like a rookie
this is breaking my heart.
WHEN GOD, WHEN will the Penguins catch a break!?!?
:-p
Hehe! Both his teams have cups, at least that's what I gather from his handle. One of them had one of the most dynamic dynasties the NHL has ever seen!
same for me for the Isles mr 4 Stanley Cups.....
I feel for fans yes but not by much for those with Cups
The Pens just opened up a NEW ARENA. My teams DESPARATELY needs a NEW ARENA. The stupid politicians are blocking the damn thing & it really pisses me off.
