JJ... he can be placed in the 4th.... I wouldn't call it a downgrade either but an upgrade in offensive skill... but he would need to match the hustle that of Carter.

the 4th line right now is a good mix of grit and speed. heck even gio throws his body around....that really isnt jofesons game...to be honest too none of the players warrant being taken out right now so they should be left in.

why would you want take out someone on the 4th line when they have been great since the start of the playoffs and has been the only line PDB hasn't changed up.
Currently they have shut down rags 1st line when both are out on the ice at the same time.
Cup is right that none of them warrant being taken out.

Honestly the only thing I like about JJ's game better then any of the other 4th line guys is his faceoff skill. Pretty sure he was over 50 percent at the time he got injured. Thats a nice thing to have in the playoffs but its too late to start messing with the lineups for me.

Like Cup said , no one deserves to get bounced from the regular rotation.

Agreed, please dont mess up the 4th line... their grit and play as of the entire playoffs has been great and you dont mess with that until you are forced too.... Plus if they can shut down the rags top line while paired against them, then what is the problem?

JJ was playing way above 4th line caliber minutes when he went down. He should be playing over Carter or Bernier.

Didn't we all say the same thing about Travis Zajac and Adam Henrique around a month ago? Travis has been dynamite in the playoffs.

I love the way the 4th line has been playing as well, BUT the first two games of this series, it's been apparent that this is Henrik vs the Devils, and we need every single scoring opportunity we can get, and JJ has got the skills.

Want to hear an insane statistic. In the entirety of the playoffs, Adam Henrique has been on the ice for only 1 ES goal against? That's called killing it. And jinxing it. Whatevs, I don't buy into that butterfly flapping its wings bS.

The whole team has been great in the play-offs. They have all bought into PDB system and ran with it. The constant forecheck and cycle the puck in the opposition zone is a lot of hard work but it is great that all lines are fully committed to this.

I understand that JJ brings better offense than those of the 4th line but still think it is hard to penalize one of them at this point. They were great in the Florida round, helped in the Philly series, and are currently doing a great job against the Rags.
Yes Bernier keeps taking some dumb penalties but his size and strength is helping with our game plan of cycling the puck and punish the Rags D with the body at every opportunity.

one way or the other, the rush for JJ won't be high. Of course JJ needs to show in practice that he should get consideration in getting into the lineup afterall...

A month ago we weren't playing this well, A month ago we weren't 3 wins away from the finals. Now is NOT the time to start juggling with the lineup by inserting guys who are rusty.
