And here I am still running a CM HAF 932.

It's showing it's age with the built in ports though.

Aaah, gotcha. Couldn't tell from the video. Anything else is mounted on that side, or is mostly empty space?

I'm getting the bug to rebuild. Noise is getting unacceptable, and I think the H80i was a bad choice. Louder than my last air cooler.

i built the 4790k in april 2015, 4 yrs high end use was the goal...and it would surely last 2-3 more running whatever comes out... but its only in Top 17% now...

And that'll mostly stay intact for me until November '20.

Except for that 1070, that I want to replace this year.

I considered upgrading to that 6700k when it came out. Also considered each of these 7700k 8700k even the 8086k... but the 8core 9900k rog hero and ram sat in my shopping cart for a couple months, then they sent me a message that they were all on sale.... doh!

4790k to 9900k upgrade isnt worth it....

+21% performance single core
+108% in multi core... but the diff... is 4 vs 8 so obviously it should double.

ill fuck around with over clocking a bit before i call it a waste of chunk of cash.
