dont sweat it, this was a non conference game that meant shit, both teams showed they were good. we are in no danger of losing the division. we will beat denvers ass and get that bye in the playoffs.

I like what I saw out of the Patriots although I was hoping for a different outcome. Good to experience games like this, but I fear the playoff bye is almost out of reach. I'm not really expecting a W next week. Manning should torch this D with or without Welker

I dont care if it is Brady or Manning, you talk to a fellow just doing his job that way who doesnt make even 1/10 of the money you do and you should expect to be riding the bench for 4 games. Just because it is 'heated' isnt an excuse to act like a jackass.

I'll put my money on BB before Del Rio. If the Pats can do a better job on defensive 3rd down and run the ball the way they did tonight, the Pats are going to be fine.

As the refs said, it probably wasn't pass interference because the ball was uncatchable...


BUT IT WAS A HORRIBLY EGREGIOUS DEFENSIVE HOLDING PENALTY, and the ball does not have to be catchable for that.

But, ultimately, it shouldn't have mattered. On 3rd down, the Patriots stopped them, and Greg Olsen's cheapo grab on McCourty kept their game winning drive alive.

The Panthers needed a horrible, horrible, horrible call to score the go ahead touchdown and a horrible, horrible, horrible non-call to keep the Pats from going back up on them.

Which leaves us with a 3 loss Patriots team where two of the losses were to walk-off hideously blown calls (this one even worse than the last one, incredibly).

I gotta disagree with the uncatchable call. It was only uncatchable because Gronk got engaged and shoved 10 feet past the ball. Barring that he certainly could/might have adjusted his route.

That's what we're talking about, and I agree, after reviewing it, 'uncatchable' was the wrong call, that was pass interference. If Kuechly isn't interfering with Gronk, and the ball doesn't get picked off anyway, the ball lands near his feet. Definitely not uncatchable.

Where the interference started was roughly the same spot as the ball was intercepted. Calling that uncatchable is laughable.

You can bet if Gronk fought through Kuechly to get to that ball he would have been flagged for offensive pass interference.
