Patriots will be visiting Denver in 2015. The dates haven't been set, but I have to believe that this will be a feature game on Sunday Night or Monday Night.

Are any of your Bronco Posters a season ticket holder? I'd love to spend that weekend with you guys and see a game at Mile High. Not trolling, Now that Seattle has been put into their place, I'm looking forward to some really rival football.

Can't wait for 2015 to begin.......Good luck Broncos.

Good win last night for you Big Ken.

Finally the Patriots are coming to Denver. It has been way too many years. Hopefully Manning will be back to keep the rivalry going.

I'd say more a gift; wrapped and delivered to NE by Pete Carroll and the Seahawks....

Pats are also visiting the Cowboys next season. Could be a Super Bowl preview. I'm finally going to Jerry World. :pound:

Lol Walker. I would however throw in the OC into that fire as well. Not sure Carroll saw it coming either. On a couple SB side notes.... Was a great game and all NFL fans had to be totally satisfied with that game, I know all you Pop music,Katy Pary fans,8- 17 yr old females, just loved the "Disney-esk" halftime show ( Get a clue NFL, most football fans are rockers for Gods sake) and on a 1-10 the much anticipated clever, funny, innovated SB commericials once again was a big disappointment. I give it a 3,maybe.Great football game though. Anyway, on to deflategate and NFL combine Gents:)

I tried to explain this to my fiance but she was not having it. In her world men appreciate Katy Perry more for her music and not for her looks.

The NFL is probably looking at it from the perspective that football fans will watch regardless of the half time show. If you get a show that can pull in a different demographic then you have gained more viewers.

Yeah, definitely on the OC too. 2nd and goal on the one, and you have Marshawn Lynch against a middle of the road run defense. The LAST thing you do is throw a pass into the middle of the field:L

3rd quarter I thought Seattle was going to start pulling away. Didn't expect that defense to allow 2 4th quarter TD's to the Pats. Still, with all that, Seattle was one yard away from most likely sealing a SB victory, and they blew it.

At least it'll be rather unlikely for either of these teams to return to the SB next year. Wasn't all that thrilled with the matchup from the beginning. Still, Pats won, so kudos to them........

Well honestly as the game wore on last night I actually found myself cheering for the Pats. I kept thinking how unbearable these boards would have been if the Seahawks had won. They made last off season one of the longest that I can remember. Congrats on the win for your team Pats fans. Anyway I would hold off just a second on the whether it will be a primetime game or not. We should know whether Manning is coming back in the next week or two. If he comes back then yeah it will be primetime all the way. If not it still could be as both organizations are still among the highest in fans across the country.

Now I am not a season ticket holder as I know a couple of the guys on here are but that might be the game I decide to go to this next year. IF so and you are coming to the game would love to meet up and get a beer with you BigKen. We have had our disagreements but you seem like a cool guy.

I went into the game wanting neither team to win but eventually I started pulling for the Patriots. I guess the sting of last year's drubbing in the Superbowl was greater than my lifelong dislike for the Pats. Either way, that was one hell of an entertaining game. I think all of us would just about kill to have our Broncos in a Superbowl like that next year and pulling out the victory. We ended this year in a tough fashion and I'm ready to get that taste out of my mouth. I hate this non-football time of year. Go Broncos!

Hearing Emanuel Sanders on the pre-game show sure sounded like what he heard from Peyton is he's coming back.

Yeah I told people all week that I was going to cheer for the Seahawks and really thought I would but the second they showed Sherman all I wanted to do was punch him in the mouth. When he started doing his "24" signal into the camera after Revis got blocked by the official I just couldn't wait to see them get beat. It was still hard to pick the lesser of two evils though. Probably not a worst Super Bowl for teams than that for Bronco fans.

TxHeat I've heard it both ways. I do think he will be coming back. Seems like most on the inside think he is but listening to his father speak the other day about it I actually for the first time started thinking he might not.

Carroll expected the Pats to be crammed to the line and possibly stop Lynch. He had not been at all successful on third and short for most of the game. He had to be thinking that a quick pass would totally catch them off guard. Wilson waited about one second too long before he threw. Matthews was open for three steps before the pass got to him. I stopped this play at least 15 times on my DVR to see how Butler got there and he actually had to go behind another Patriot which gave him the angle to make the pick.

3rd quarter I thought Seattle was going to start pulling away. Didn't expect that defense to allow 2 4th quarter TD's to the Pats. Still, with all that, Seattle was one yard away from most likely sealing a SB victory, and they blew it.

Most of Seahawks fans and Patriots fans were starting to feel the same way in the third quarter

The Patriots are one of the youngest teams in the NFL. Brady and Belichick will be back next year and they certainly have most of the pieces in place to be back in 2016 to defend. All of the skill players on the field yesterday will be back except for Bolden and Vareen who are free agents and Vaqreen's agent has been negotiating with the Pats since December.

Vareen will be back. He's the same type of guy that Kevin Faulk was and for the plays they run they need THAT guy.

Actually the Patriots have some interesting signings they will have to make. The band is not guaranteed that they will all be back together. You have Revis being the huge name of what you are going to do with him. At this point yes he is signed but are you really going to pay him $25 million for this upcoming season? No guarantee that he is coming back. Devin McCourty especially now after the Super Bowl win can demand Byrd type safety money in the over $10 million a year category. Your kicker Gostkowski is a FA. A guy I could see getting a decent size deal is that of Siliga with Wilfork getting up there in age.

Throw in New England is not going to have a ton of Cap Space. Right now for 2015 they have $150 million in Cap already used up. Now depending on how much the Cap goes up (probably in the $140-145 million range there are going to be some tough decisions. Yes they can cut Revis so that frees up $20 million in space but most likely most of that $20 million goes right back to him as he will want in that $14-15 million range. Wilfork is a guy that could be cut to free up some space but then again the middle of the defense becomes a huge question mark. Nate Solder is another that could be a cap casualty but then again that leaves a huge question mark at the LT spot.

So just like us for the Broncos it is going to be an interesting off season for you guys as well. You have a good chunk of your players signed for this next season but Revis and McCourty will pretty much take up any kind of cap space you guys could think of to free up. Probably going to have to cut a couple of others just to get under the cap to accomplish getting those guys back.

Seems like it doesn`t matter who Pats have to release or which undrafted/ little known/castoffs they aquire, Belicheck,Brady and that organization seem to handle it very well. Lot of respect here. P.S. I was (right up to game time) not caring who won as long as it was a good game but a few plays into game I found myself rootin for Pats and it stayed that way. Not sure why really. I have alot more bad taste in my mouth for the Pats than I do Seattle,so go figure:)

Pats lined up like they were expecting Lynch. So, if you want to pass, play action with Lynch, then roll out. Wilson then has option to pass, run, or throw it away. The play they chose was a poor option, and Lockette didn't give them the look they wanted.

Actually Walker after watching and listening to some qualified people,it was exactly the look they wanted and should of scored on if it wasn't for unheralded Browner. The inside wr was supposed to push Browner a couple yrs into end zone thus getting a rub or pk on 21 and impeding his angle. Instead Browned made contact with that receiver at line of scrimmage and gave 21 a clear uninterrupted lane to make that great play.Browned deserves a lot of credit for what would of been an easy td had he not jammed his guy. They also said that this yr around 107 passes were attempted at the 1 yd line and 66 went for tds. Only 1 int and that was last nite. Pretty good odds for success I'd say. :suds:

Regardless of odds, it's still riskier to throw in that direction. It didn't really give Wilson any alternatives in case the play didn't develop as planned (which it didn't). BTW.... did "they" happen to break down how many of those passes were thrown toward the middle of the field/defense?

I think a play action to Lynch would have likely created more room along the outside areas of the field to make a play. As called, all Wilson could do is throw the pass. In my scenario, he has more choices available to him in case he doesn't get the "look" he needs to complete a TD pass. And who knows, Lynch just may have pounded the ball in from the one as well. He has the tendency to wear down defensive lines as the game plays on. Also, remember how many failed red zone attempts we decried because Denver chose to pass instead of trying to run for the score?

I don't think it was a good call, and there are also other experts and qualified people who agree with that too. It's destined to be one of those things that people will wonder about and debate for years to come.

62% success rate on passes isn't bad, but take a look at THESE odds:

"According to Football Outsiders, in fact, they (Seahawks) were the second-best power team in the league, converting 81 percent of power runs (described as third or fourth down and/or any goal-to-go situation with 2 yards or less to go) into first downs or touchdowns"
