Seems like Freddie and FO was afraid to confront himHopefully OBJ participates in all upcoming off season activites. Unlike last year when he was absent for everything.

Good luck with that. Woods was crap in Denver as the DC. Hopefully Stefanski isn't as clueless as Joseph was otherwise Woods will ruin that D.

I don't think wilks liked him. He probably isn't the greatest fit for a 4 2 5
I'm still of the belief that OBJ is destined to muscle his way out of Cleveland. But I don't want to get into that again. It's a touchy subject with some.Hopefully OBJ participates in all upcoming off season activites. Unlike last year when he was absent for everything.
Maybe he'll relocate the team to Baltimore.Speaking of Haslam can the league force him to sell his team?

Would probably have better reception.St. Louis?
I don't see any good reason to not like a tackling machine. If he's not a good fit for a defense, that defensive change may be ill-advised. All a 4-2-5 really does is replace an OLB with a safety.
Considering the Browns had significant injuries all year long in the back 7 the change definitely became problematic
...and they're changing DCs, right?

This applies to you....."This is far from a done deal but it goes to show the respect that Stefanski has in the league.. There are a great number of “reporters” out there that only report on the negative or even twist the positive to the negative. This sorry state of BS is because a large percentage of people, “fans”, in general just want to piss and moan and don’t bother to take 5 seconds to google the subject themselves. Stefanski was a good hire.. Paton is one of, if not the most, sought after GM candidates in the nfl. Has been for years.. He has turned down requests for interviews from other teams more than he’s accepted.. turned down the Browns twice prior.. The reason it might be possible for Cleveland to finally pry him from Minn.?? Stefanski and the respect and belief Paton has in him.."
Well yea and I don't think that's a bad thing. His scheme is extremely suspect versus the run regardless. While I do think it's somewhat effective against Baltimore because it helps deal with Lamar I just think it's too one dimensional.
Actually it was a mixed bag. Two seasons - 2017, the defense was dominant. 3rd in total defense, and the guy clearly knows how to coach up DBs (all four starting DBs in Denver went to at least one Pro Bowl in his two seasons as DB coach, and obviously San Fran had a monster pass D this year). 2018 wasn't great, but they were still in the top half of the league in scoring defense. He also wasn't helped out much by an offense that was bottom 6 in the NFL in time of possession in 2018. He's a step up for Cleveland, I would think. He'll have plenty of talent to work with.Good luck with that. Woods was crap in Denver as the DC. Hopefully Stefanski isn't as clueless as Joseph was otherwise Woods will ruin that D.
I think this is a misconception. want to say he has not hired the right people? Seems to be mostly true. when he thought he had the right guy in Dorsey, though, he let him do his thing and spent the money. It’s not that it’s not a great hire, it the fact of will they give him time to turn things around. I for one would like to see them compete again
