Panthers trade Dvorak to Thrashers

The Florida Panthers have traded forward Radek Dvorak and a fifth-round draft pick to the Atlanta Thrashers for veteran forward Patrick Rissmiller and winger Niclas Bergfors

Has Bergfors fallen off the map? He's a talented guy, yet he continues to get traded.

That's a lot of potential headed to Florida for an old guy and a 5th rounder. I know Bergfors hasn't looked too good this year, but neither has Bogo and you almost start to wonder if it's something with the coaching.

Either way, Tallon didn't give up a whole lot and got a guy who could be real good for a long time.

Weird move for the Thrashers, IMO.

Bergfors is giving more production now and he's 10 years younger. I smell a conflict with coaching/management.
