Why do you want the young inexperienced guy in a playoff game vs the vet who is know to play smart and not make mistakes? I know Smith is playing great but he wont make the mistakes haskins does.

it looks to me that CDC is on pace to start .

the issue is this is a team (4 wins ) that you have to beat if you are really any kind of serious playoff team . this game could be the clincher for the NFC east title . . we need better from both guys to make it and better from both to make any kind of impact

Right, every Washington fan wants Smith to start have last weeks performance from DH. Im have more confidence in Smith than Haskins to win the division. How is that jumping to conclusions?

Have you not watched alex smith this year? He has turned the ball over and/or made bad decisions every single game he has played. I can't understand that pedestal you have put Alex on. He is marginally better than DH, at best. The win ratio that Alex has is not because of Alex's play, but in spite of his play.

Now does Alex give us a better chance at winning? Probably, but not my much.

I am too but Las Vegas gives Smith only 1 point more than Haskins as a starter in the betting line which means both of our QBs suck.

We need a real QB next year if we want to continue to make progress so you are correct.

We all know if healthy enough Smith will start. Rivera would want it no other way. Vet leadership in this must win/clinch game.

Since I live in NC I get all of the Panthers games on TV and let me tell you these bunch of Panthers play very hard for Matt Rhule and I expect this same thing to happen when they play us. I'll be surprised if this is not a close game that could go either way.
