Smith was limited today. I think Smith needs a full practice for Friday if he is going to start Sunday. RR already said if smith is healthy he would start.

ahh, actually DH didn't enter the game till the Skins were in front 13-7 and as they never lost the lead to the 9ers after that DH can't be credited with a comeback victory.

I credit DH with the technicality that AS never returned. Let’s be honest...neither were good enough but that defense won the game.

My point through all of this has been, I believe our record would be no worse, possibly better, had DH started every game this season. It isn’t because I think DH is great, but our defense is that good. Our QB play has been horrendous throughout, but had DH started throughout, perhaps he could have improved in the offense.

I disagree. He needed to be benched and while I thought deactivating him went too far. I'm thinking now maybe that wasn't going far enough. Though the only thing left after that I guess would've been to release him. So RR pretty much went as far as he could w/o doing that,

And sure, maybe what you say happens if DH starts the entire year. Or maybe his boasting about how much yardage he threw for, or his first 3 TD game or whatever all the while as the Skins are catching ass whippings as a team. Leads to more dysfunction and strife that RR and the coaching staff can't get a handle on now because they didn't try and squash it earlier.

I was strictly speaking of a W/L perspective.

As for how I believe he should have been handled, that is far different. I honestly believe Kyle Allen was brought here to be the starter, and I have said that from the beginning. I would have never brought Kyle Allen here in the first place; however, if you bring him here, you start him week 1, and tell DH it is because of a shortened offseason and Allen’s familiarity with the offense, all the while letting DH believe he will get a shot sometime.

Well, we didn’t go that route. We started DH week 1, and the results were predictable. We didn’t get the win against Baltimore, but DH wasn’t the reason for the loss. You don’t bench him there Because it appears petty. If you don’t like what you hear, you speak to him like a man. You let him know the team lost, and he was imperfect. Preferably, you call in a veteran player such as Scherff, or maybe Alex Smith, to speak with DH about the team aspect of the game...maybe ever TM because they have been together before.

Again, we didn’t go that route. Instead we destroyed all hope of progression for the kid. Now he has proven to be a dumb ass with no concept of team. Now we trade him for a paper bag and call it a day. I am fine with that because now DH has earned that treatment. I am done defending what he may have been able to progress too because his character is a bit questionable.

True, but the question is how. All the QBs have played better in the second half in competitive but catch up play. Slow starts. Halftime adjustments. Allen was the most consistent in first halves? The whole offense has been better the second half, defense most of the game besides one drive/run/pass each game.

Honestly think Turners scripted plays to start are waaaay too conservative. No clue whether that’s a Rr and Turner thing but it has to change. The fact that we are the only team that has not scored on an opening drive is it’s own referendum on that.

I echo this sentiment. Piss poor play calling is a part of our slow starts. Don't start force feeding Logan Thomas after were down 14 in qtr 3. Mix it up with run/pass. Get everyone involved from Tmac, Sims Jr, Sims, Thomas, Gibson & McKissick. I see alot of creative offenses on Sunday's, just not ours.

Again if he plays like that he is a quality QB, the issue is he doesn’t play like that , that’s all that needs to be said . I know about halftime adjustments and such but that wasn’t the point
