I am still toying with the idea of learning how to say "The passenger seat in my car is the path to freedom" in Spanish and swinging by the left field bleachers in Ajax. I own Alfredo Despaigne in a sim league and I'd love to make him eligible.

I mean, I'd be happy to help anyone looking to escape but the guy who can help me win a Diamond Mind World Series is first on the list.

Technically they can play in the US now as long as the Cuban government clears them to, as they did for Yoan Moncada before he signed with the Red Sox. But not surprisingly the Cuban government is more willing/likely to clear a guy to play in Japan (or Mexico, where Despaigne was also cleared to play) than they are America.
