Thankfully the Braves beat Washington last night, so the magic number goes to 5, even with the choke job in the 9th inning. I'm pissed the Mark let this get away from him, but looking at the big picture, they just flat out can't string together some quality at bat's. It can't just be Cutch and Byrd carrying this offense. Walker and Alvarez have gone AWOL in the past month and a half. I'm also disappointed that Morneau isn't providing more pop as a middle of the order bat.

Nothing like stating the obvious, but they have to win this game today..

That is the way to break out of an offensive slump. Yeah Cole is showing why he was the first pick when it is his turn in the rotation he is winning or setting his team up to win everytime down the stretch here.

Oh yeah I heard that he was and knew players that got to work with him. Never hesitation on his part to help out any kids wanting to learn/play the game.
