im a mariners fan but i often keep up on the padres...there pitching and lineup
where there starting pitching is young
except danilson lemet( after TJ) they would seem ready to go with

lucchesi .....as the ace

...........rhp
lauer
.lemet/nix.........rhp

erlin.........to me erlin is more of a fifth guy

but the reason i started this thread is to see what san diego fans would think of
a dee gordan for franchy cordero trade

Sir, thank you for your post and comments on the state of the 2019 San Diego Padres. Your question about a potential Dee Gordon/Franchy Cordero is a fascinating one. I apologize it took so long to get a response. Truthfully I wasn’t sure what I think about the Padres’ chances this upcoming season, and trading for a soon to be 31 year old coming off a .637 OPS season with a PED history seems a bit risky to me.

Luckily for you though, my assistant @Cedrique is back. He’s far more knowledgeable on these matters, and is constantly in the ear of A.J. Preller. I would send any trade ideas to him, and he will consult with Preller on them and get back to you within 3 to 5 business days.
