I know theres a ton of enthusiasm. It's just that 50k people in that stadium looks like nothing. lol

True. I've only been a couple of times and both were during the sanctions. Because of the low scholarship numbers, they were afraid of losing guys to injury so it was more like a regular practice, but you had to pay $10 to attend. lol

It was still a fun day though.

I'm thinking about going this year to see if they do it more like a real game.

I'm sure my brother would want to go. He for the first time didn't get season tickets last season. He said no more till Clay was gone. lol

I assume he's getting them again this year then.
I'm sure he's working on it. He gets them with a friend of his. I get mine usually from a couple architects I work with who have wives who don't like going to the games and another friend who usually gets four seats and sometimes they have a cpl extra. lol. I have a feeling I'm gonna have to pony up some duckets this season to see games.

Disagree, Boise is...

Meh, it might be closer than it used to be, but I would still go with BYU being the stronger brand. They've been a known brand for a lot longer and have had good teams in both basketball and football. Also, similar to ND with Catholics, they get a bump nationwide because there are a lot of Mormons.

Not sure I've been this excited for a season to start since Pete.

I'm with you on that. I wish this was one of the years we go play Notre Dame at Notre Dame I would totally make that trip. I need to look at the schedule because every season except covid my buddies and I travel to at least one of the away games

Nope, byu is bigger

Yeah, some folks may say Boise because they had a recent run and their fans were kind of loud about it.

But BYU has longevity and despite being G5, they have long been considered a de facto P5. I dont think Boise has been looked at like that since Petersen left.

lol

Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss surpassed Lincoln Riley and USC as the #1 transfer portal recruiting school.

So Kiffin tweets:

Jaxson Dart, who he got from USC in the transfer portal when Caleb Williams came to USC.

I think you guys are getting a generational type player in Caleb. He has tremendous upside, really good arm, deceptively fast, and really football smart. He made a handful of mistakes last year, but that was a combination of his youth and confidence in trying to make every play a success.

Mario Williams is a really talented kid as well. Super fast, good hands, and good route runner. I think he finished 4th in receptions last year. Downside is he’s a little dude, and not much for blocking in run schemes.

Latrell McCutchin I know very little about. I think he was a 4 star kid. He’s over 6’ and has some length. Played sparingly if memory serves.
