Congrats Huskies on the Fiesta
I'm liking all the PAC match ups tho should be great games

Oregon/Boise State in the Las Vegas Bowl may be interesting. On one side Boise has owned Oregon. On the other side doesn't OD own Vegas?

As long as Falk doesn't play, I have a good feeling about the bowl. He needed to stay in Seattle after the Apple Cup and be a test subject for brain damage by all the UW medical undergrads.

Some good analysis on why those picks ended up as they did. Makes sense. PAC did as good as it could considering the final rankings. Getting two NY6 bowls also means a larger overall payout to the conf for bowl season this year when all the rev gets distributed.

—In a slight twist, the Trojans are headed to the Cotton Bowl to face Ohio State, a smart move by the selection committee to ensure the Buckeyes don’t play in the Fiesta for a third consecutive season.

That switch prompted Washington and Penn State to slide into the Fiesta.

(Why not place USC in the Fiesta against PSU? To avoid a rematch of last year’s Rose Bowl.)

So here’s the tally: USC doesn’t get a playoff berth it was never going to receive, and Washington collects a NY6 bid that was iffy.

Given those parameters, today was a victory for the Pac-12, because the only reasonable alternative was no playoff for USC and no NY6 for Washington.

I think it was defiantly an on paper victory for you guys. You guys should handle Penn State as long as Pettis in healthy.

Hamdan creates a seemless transition. Hes also a fabulous recruiter. All the WRs and offensive players he helped recruit for last years class are going to be thrilled he's back.

This also makes it interesting for Chipster. Does he make the call to Helfrich and try to get some of the band back together.
Knock on wood thats it for any turnover on the Huskies staff for this year. ASU and UCLA have full staffs to fill out and USC might have lose one as well depending on the Tenn situation.

The PAC has a golden opportunity to make a statement. And give the committee and media the finger for giving the PAC no respect

Cottion Ohio State vs. USC
Fiesta Penn State vs. Washington
Alamo Stanford vs. TCU
Holiday Michigan State vs. Washington State
Foster Farms Arizona vs. Purdue
Las Vegas Boise State vs. Oregon
Sun Arizona State vs. NC State
Dallas Utah vs. West Virginia
Cactus Kansas State vs. UCLA

I'm hoping the PAC runs the table just to make a huge statement. You know damn well our POS commissioner won't make one

THE GAMEPLAN AGAINST UWUB is always thru the air…thought you knew that?

Despite losing Sidney Jones, Budda Baker and Kevin Jones to the draft, in addition to losing 2 of our top corners to injuries, UW is still only allowing 185.1 yards per game through the air. Lately, throwing the ball has been successful, but the Husky secondary isn't something I'd consider much of a weakness.

Coach Pete has always ran with his guys.

and he should never hire a competitor either…both names you mentioned are HC material. HC sweet P is smarter than to hire a big name OC. P would rather "teach em up", as he should.

GL2U and yours this holiday season sir.

It makes sense when you look at it from that angle. If he were to hire a Helfrich or Baldwin, they'd likely be out in a year or two. Similar to what Tedford did. Since Hamden is young, he'll likely be here for a while in this position.

You as well, hopefully all us UW fans were wrong about Jonathan Smith.

Appears Hamdan will remain on the Falcons staff till the end of their season, so Huskies will probably have to figure out the Fiesta play calling situation with the current staff. So be it. Go Dawgs!!!
