USC was going to follow the path of most teams .. schedule a cupcake to lighten the load. USC and Stanford get pretty much fvcked every year with having ND on their schedule.

Well depends on how you look at it. ND counts as a P5 so why not schedule BYU and schools like Boise, Houston, and Memphis for a second game and then grab those mid tier power 5s?
get Kansas State, North Carolina and Illinois type schools. throw in the occasional Texas and Alabama

Nobody has scheduled more P5 teams than USC & Stanford. Swann saw how schools such as Oregon and Washington were taking a literal bye week by scheduling FCS teams and decided to give it a shot. USC fans went nuts after they found out an FCS team was scheduled and now SC is looking to replace them.

because i dont really consider them as being scheduled as much as just a part of the schedule. USC and Stanford arent trying to schedule them they just are scheduled. so when you say they have scheduled more i think of them making effort like Alabama and Texas and such
