Hope you guys get your own channel too.

You didn't answer the question.

Oregon continues to lead the conference in attendance relative to capacity, despite Eugene only having 156,000 residents.

Washington can't fill it's stadium despite having almost 4 million people in the Seattle metro area.

Washington led the conference in attendance last year and is currently doing so again this year. Now answer the question .. what's the largest crowd to view a football game at Autzen this year.

While I would expect you to have a much deeper involvement, that isn't always a good thing when evaluating these situations. As fans we sometimes tend to support a failing or falling situation far too long. There were plenty of people still supporting Willingham even toward the end of the 0-12 season for example. :L

I just think USC shouldn't find itself in this many years of trailing given the built in advantages they have in recruiting. Doesn't mean I'm right.

If it were as simple as getting the coach right, I would agree. However, the problems started with the President of the university and worked their way down from there.

Since Pete Carroll left, USC is on our 3rd head coach and will be hiring our 3rd AD. It's virtually impossible to have any kind of continuity in the program. Add to that the FBI probe into basketball and the admissions scandal and USC's athletic department doesn't look good.

While we still have a lot of talent, recruiting has taken a hit. I mean, I'm sure Chris Petersen, Chip Kelly, etc. aren't going into recruits living rooms and pointing out all of the turnover, potential turnover and the FBI crap and saying..."They don't know who the new AD will be, which means they don't know if Helton will be replaced or not. Do you really want to spend the next 3-4 years with that kind of turmoil?" Lol

I don't know if Helton is the right guy or not. I do know that he was the right guy at the time because after the 2 frat boys, we needed a grown up. I also know that he was part of his own problem because he was too loyal to assistants who weren't getting the job done.

I and most Trojans that I know are pretty happy with the assistants he has now and I'd like to see him get a couple of seasons with them. Unfortunately, for him, unless the team catches fire, he's probably only getting this season. Too much momentum against him and too difficult a schedule to be coaching for your job against.

Umm 1/4 are UW alums/fans. 1/4 are Cougs and the other half are transplants.

.

USC doesn’t have Jessie Jackson threatening them if they fire Helton. A little apples to oranges with that one. It’d be more like a Gilbertson comparison where people genuinely liked him.

So there's 1 million UW fans in the metro area, and they still can't sell it out?

Homeless don’t count as people nor is the “Seattle Metro” close to 4 million people. Tacoma, Bellevue and Everett are not Seattle no matter how much people pretend they are.

Uh it's definitely in the metro area...the same way that Oakland is in the Bay Area.

It’s not the Metro area. Seattle has had an issue with their “Metro” area since residents have fled the area. I’m sure you are one of those people who think Microsoft is a Seattle based company too?

Seattle-metro, not Seattle proper.

A television set in Western Washington is not the Metro area. I’m not defending the lack of attendance just your reasoning is flawed. Seattle is a Suburb now of Bellevue but it takes too much effort for tv folks to say the market isn’t Seattle anymore.

Vancouver is not the Seattle metro area. Bellevue is.
