The thought crossed my mind the other day, but I hope he stays at Cal. It annoys me when folks try to move coaches from here to there instead of letting them just be where they are. I'd love to be the successful HC of the California Golden Bears and live in the Oakland Hills (when the fires are not burning).

He and his brother were two of my favorite Ducks of all time. Their NFL HOF Dad was before my time. They grew up about 20 miles outside of Eugene in Junction City. They are Oregon Ducks royalty. Good people.

The ASU-Cal line is super weird. It's the #15 team in the country, apparently, at home, against an unranked team. That just lost to Colorado.

But the line is only 4 or 4.5 depending on where you're betting. Right after ASU couldn't win at home against Colorado. Now, my immediate thought was "Yo, we can win this game against Cal" but still.. The line is fucking nuts. There is 1.) either ZERO fucking Cal respect in Vegas or 2.) a massive trap coming.

This line screams Cal money, right? Right? Why else would they hold at 4/4.5? When they started at 3.5? That can't be the extent of the movement for #15 at home versus a team that just lost at home to Colorado.

It's fishy. Don't bet your house.
