In the meantime, odds of Utah winning it all have dropped by 20% in a month. Apparently we have become a sexy long shot bet...

Summer hot takes are garbage filler unit fall camp. Utes are easily the favorite to win the south and the north will be enough of a battle to make the eventual winner bruised and abused going into the ccg. I'd like my chances as a Utah fan. Doesn't mean USC can't find a way with that talent, but I'd still like the odds.

So what you are saying is that Oregon coaches developed him to the pinnacle of college football, but the Tennessee Titans coaching could not develop him any further.

Funny but either one means he peaked in college. As a pro you have to take some responsibility in your development.

Not all college QB's make it in the pros. Jake Locker of UW is a prime example of that.

Developed him? Dude was a terrible passer in college. He was a great dual threat guy but let’s no pretend his deep balls were anything but dying, pun intended, ducks. Titans may not have done a good job but let’s not pretend Mariota wasn’t another Tennessee falls in love with a Heisman Trophy winner so drafts him.
