So what are you preseason rankings for the conference? It's always good to see what we think vs what actually happens.

I have AZ taking both the reg and tourney titles (not that the tourney means near as much as the reg season).

I think that Utah might be second, and Stanford, Colorado, and UCLA will be trying to challenge Utah for 2nd. I think that Cal, and Washington will be the middle of the Pac, (and I hope Oregon can be a part of that middle). ASU, OSU, WSU, USC will all be garbage.

My dark horse is Colorado, and UCLA to make a run for 2nd and a decent seed (8 up) in the tourney.

USC had their scrimmage today... 3 of the true freshman started, I'd be surprised if that lineup continues.

gonna be a tough year this year for the conference as a whole, but the arrow is definitely pointing up for several teams in the near future looking at the incoming classes

The Pac will still get 5 teams in the tourney... my guess is AZ, UTH, COL, UCLA & Stanford.

This year won't be a great year for the Pac, but as BearDown said there are some good recruits coming in and it's on the upswing as a whole.

yah, I'd say Arizona is the odds on definite favorite this year, but going forward the conference should be getting tighter with a number of teams improving.

BTW- Stanford is pretty underrated, imo. Randle and Brown are probably one of the best backcourt duos in the Pac and they've got a couple highly touted freshman coming in along with Rosco Allen returning.

USC has a lot of growing pains to go through, a lot of young/new players.

The Mountain trip is going to be sooooooo tough this season. I wouldn't be surprised if no one sweeps, few split, and everyone else gets swept. The Huntsman Center is a sleeping giant that was partially awakened last season, and Utah wasn't near as talented as they will be this season. And, the Keg isn't a walk in the park either. Best road trip in the Pac, with Cal and Stanford a distant 2nd.

better effort from SC this game, but I think rebounding is going to be an issue all year along, not a lot of big bangers on this team, Clark seems like our best banger, but he's an undersized 6'8.

So weird to see Angelo Chol playing for SDSU. Should be a good game vs Utah.
