if he cancer cut him 500k no big deal. owens wants to play soooo bad he might revert to prime TO here and go off. i like him on the field, hes tough and plays hard. i seriously doubt he would raise a ruckus over targets or anything, he just wants to play and sniff that ring. im so dissapointed in the pats for not signing him. he WOULD make our team better.

How about grooming some rookies...

They are loaded with talent that just needs polishing.
They are 2-0, the rookie receivers were, for the most part, in the right place/right time, but were either off by a nano second or expected inside shoulder vs outside shoulder.

I still believe these guys can make a monster offense when they start hitting on all twelve cylinders.

But if one goes PUP...I'd give Owens a shot at the title...

I think they do have talent. They get open. They have the speed and hands. They just need time

The way he sounds he may be willing to fill a role that could benefit this team. TO may have had his issues, but he knows the game. He knows the receiver position. He can pass tips on to the young guys. I obviously don't sign him without knowing what kind of shape he is in and whether he can still play, but listening to him, he may be willing to be a very useful bit piece.

If he is more than a bit role we would be in trouble. He should not get enough looks to take them from the young guys, but if he can still play a little I would consider it.
